Case summary/Introduction:

P is a company that involves innovative methods to increase employee’s efficiency. It continuously tries to make employees more efficient by giving different tasks and refraining them to do a single monotonous task always. It allows employees to give more time to knowledge work and lesser for the support work. It outsources its project to different companies which makes them more efficient. When D gave a tedious task which involves consolidating company facilities that may have taken several months, the team put the report together in a month, something that would have taken six months to do alone.

Adequate information: P is continually looking for ways to help employees be more efficient and effective. It helps employees to be innovative in their work rather than working regularly on the same monotonous task. It considers a magic button, which is a tool used by employees working in P works to work more efficiently. It outsources it works to an Indian team who takes the company’s requirements and does it more efficiently.
