Where, n=total number of terms,

Calculation:

Data set:26,39,5,82,12,14,0,3,15,19,41,6

Outlier is 82

After sorting and removing outliers,

0,3,5,6,12,14,15,19,26,39,41

Substituting value,

Mean= $\frac{0+3+5+6+12+14+15+19+26+39+41}{11}=\frac{180}{11}=16.36$

Median= ${(\frac{11+1}{2})}^{th}ob=6^{th}ob$ =14

Mean is more affected by the outlier.
