Introduction:
In mammals, two X chromosomes (XX) inherits in a female, one inherits from her father and other comes from her mother. Out of these two chromosomes, one is tightly condensed and do not express, these condensed X chromosomes are known as Barr bodies. The inactivation of the X chromosomes ensures that most of the genes on that chromosome are not expressed.
