Expert Solution
Introduction: Ella Baker and the Civil Rights Movement.

Ella Baker was an African American Humanist who fought for the rights of Black people in America. She wrote journals and articles for the awareness of the movement and proposed the demands of equal civil and democratic rights in America. She was the co-founder of South Christian Leadership Conference organization which gathered people either Black or white who favored Justice and Equality.

The Civil rights movement began on December 1, 1955, when a black lady named Rosa Parks was arrested on the bus for refusing to move to another place in Alabama. Since the Black people were inferiors to white and thus, they were treated less as a human being. They too were the citizens of America but always faced bigotry.
