Your response should be 3 to 5 sentences in length. Include the following in your response: o Do you think people can exhibit both introverted and extroverted traits, depending on the situation? Justify your response. • I strongly believe that people can exhibit both introverted and extroverted traits depending on their situation or circumstances. For instance, I would consider myself as an introverted type of person because I do not like large groups or gatherings of people, I enjoy and prefer solitary time alone, I don’t have many friends, and I don’t really like hanging out or attending social gatherings. On the other hand, the very few friends that I do have, I am very extroverted with them. I can talk to them for hours on end in any situation, I can hang out with them and attend events, etc. As an introvert I feel like over communicating with others sometimes makes me feel burnt out or like I need to go and be alone until I am rejuvenated. - Describe the benefits of having introverted or extroverted managers or teachers . Your response should be 3 to 5 sentences in length. Include the following in your response: o Be sure to list a benefit of having an introverted manager and a benefit of having an extroverted manager. o Consider how you would approach building a relationship with a manager or teacher that exhibits different extroversion traits than you do. • Three benefits of having an extroverted manager are that the manager will more than likely be easy going, another reason is you will probably feel comfortable because they are approachable. Last reason is that they may be fun and outgoing and can make

the work environment enjoyable. Three benefits of having an introverted manager are that staff meetings probably won’t be long and drawn out and they won’t schedule any after hours meetings or events, second reason is you may feel like they are more productive in listening to you as they may talk less and listen more. Lastly, they will probably like to handle conflicts/issues in private rather than public. I would approach building a relationship with a manager that exhibits different extroversion traits than I do by getting to know them better, figuring out what they like/dislike, that way it would be easier to understand them. - Describe the benefits of having introverted or extroverted team members . Your response should be 3 to 5 sentences in length.Include the following in your response: o Be sure to list a benefit of having an introverted team member and a benefit of having an extroverted team member. o Consider how you would approach building a relationship with a team member that exhibits different extroversion traits than you do. • A benefit of having an extroverted team member is that they are probably more outgoing and easier to communicate with. A benefit of having an introverted team member is that they will stay to themselves and be more thorough and cautious before making decisions that could effect you or their career. I would approach the situation by building rapport, figuring out what type of person they are and if can mesh well in the workplace environment. - Describe how a manager or teacher might engage both introverted and extroverted individuals and motivate them on the team or in the classroom. Justify your response. Your response should be 3 to 5 sentences in length. • A teacher might engage introverted individuals by being more one on one and hands on with them. For example, if a teacher were to call on the introverted student and ask a

question, the introverted student may be too shy or to themselves to answer so instead the teacher might question them separately. Or, if the introverted individual is being scolded, it may be wise to approach them one on one rather than publicly confronting them as they may not be able to handle the situation at hand. Introverted individuals can be motivated by being encouraged to try new things, take more risks, and involve themselves more frequently in events, situations, discussions, etc. Extroverted individuals can be motivated by being paired into collaborative group activities with other individuals where they can thrive in a shared project and environment. - Describe a benefit of using emotional intelligence skills in the workplace or classroom. Your response should be 3 to 5 sentences in length. Consider the following in your response: o When would you need to use these skills and why? o How do they empower you to navigate stressful situations? o How do these skills influence your mindset? O A benefit of using emotional intelligence skills in the workplace or classroom is that it gives individuals the opportunities to develop their abilities of reasoning, understanding of others and their emotions, and self-awareness. Using E.I skills in the workplace or classroom would influence my mindset because I’d be able to manage my emotions, which could lead to an overall better quality and approach to life. I feel like you need to use E.I skills everywhere you go because it doesn’t just help you in your profession. It can be used in your everyday lifestyle. - Explain how an increased awareness of the introversion and extroversion of yourself and others helps you be more effective in the workplace or school setting. Your response should be 3to 5 sentences in length. • Increased awareness of the introversion and extroversion of myself and others helps me be more effective in my workplace because with me being able to understand myself as well as others, and being able to read body language, emotions, etc will help me improve
