Avalon Juliana November, 2023 PSY – 491 5-2 Video Reflection • Describe which aspects of psychology the interview participants highlighted when discussing their ability to develop and adhere to goals. Self-analysis mode was mentioned when talking about being an introvert and understanding their own social change identity. Through nature and nature, and adhering to the identity of oneself, the participant has been able to stay motivated in his accomplishments through empowering others to promote social change agency as it begins within us. Personality traits, unique experiences are what truly shapes one’s attitude and personal beliefs and through embracement of aspects of one’s identity to promote positive change in one’s own environment. Bei ng present, paying attention, showing care and concern are micro efforts which can result in macro changes within their own lives through empathy and compassion. (2021 SNHU Media) • Describe how your understanding of motivation can promote the drive and determination required to achieve your goals. For the past four years my motivation to continue school has been greatly deepened by my daily experiences. Sometimes in life, your motivation to do one thing broadens as you are on your way to achieving your goal. Everyone has their own reasons for their own drive and determination to keep motivated to accomplish their goals, and for me, my understanding of motivation is what keeps me going. Motivation can be either positive or negative, in my life I try my best to stay positive and make good choices by understanding my motives in every situation. Continuing to take daily personal inventory is my way of understanding my motives and motivations in all my experiences in life. (2021 SNHU Media)
