Greetings, The topic I will be researching is about ADHD. For this assignment, I decided to use an article I found while browsing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website. The CDC is a trusted source for ADHD, offering detailed info on symptoms, how to diagnose it, treatment options, and the latest research. I came across Journal of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology, Volume 49, 2020 - Issue 1, pages 134-145, published on 04 Dec 2019. The source titled "Future Directions for Psychosocial Interventions for Children and Adolescents with ADHD" appears to be credible. It discusses various psychosocial interventions for children and adolescents with ADHD, including behavioral parent training, classroom management, peer interventions, and organization training programs. Additionally, the protocol mentioned in the source aims to systematically identify non-pharmacological interventions for ADHD, addressing concerns like ADHD symptoms, organization skills, classroom functioning, quality of life, self-esteem, and conflict with teachers and peers. My own research in the last five years directly coincides with the article and use of best practices involving ADHD. This information suggests that the source provides valuable insights into psychosocial interventions for children and adolescents with ADHD, making it a credible resource for related research and information. All of which I can personally relate to in my own experiences in comparison to the Case of “James” is told about the resolutions and fallout of decisions that affected James later in life. To me, these are all green flags, including the authors who contributed to this source. Starting with Dr. George J.
