Bureaucratic politics is referencing the impact of organizational structures on decision-making and policy formation, also the extent of which political influences has on the institutional framework as described by President Woodrow Wilson. Bureaucratic politics approach also seek to understand public policy because of decision-making process inside and between government organizations characterized by conflict, bargaining, and compromise. Bureaucratic politics includes bureaucrats from different backgrounds, objectives, and point of views in the development and implementation of policies. Policy choices are made through the bargaining game between a certain number of political players within the bureaucratic politics. According to the Wilsonian doctrine, every administrative matter needs to be maintained apart from other political elements or influence. A good example of bureaucratic politics would be sanctions impose on nation by the State and Defense Department. This in turns affects both the Commercial and Agricultural Departments because the affect U.S. businesses and agriculture, as we have witnessed with sanctions imposed on Russia from their lawful invasion of Ukraine. Organizational dynamics, along with bureaucratic politics, are imperative organizational talents that help create U.S. national security policy. Depicting how policy decisions are made by elected officials, political appointees, and military commanders. These priorities, as well as the potential conflicts they may cause, have a greater impact on the development and implementation of foreign policy. An option that appears to be a calculated effort to convince another nation might be precarious compromise between rival groups inside the U.S. administration. The maneuvers show how bureaucratic politics and organizational dynamics have shaped our foreign relations. References Brady, Linda P., and Charles W.
