Frameworks for making ethical decisions help identify the problems that are at stake in a given situation and allow for the systematic assessment of both the ethical concerns and the ideals that should be upheld. Stakeholders in ethics play roles either (or both) as moral agents or (or and) moral patients (Kisselburgh and Beever, 2022). Control of information from health research that uses big data represents one of the clearest problems for mitigating vulnerability (Xafis et al, 2019). Big data usage, sharing, and reuse decisions are nuanced and heavily influenced by values. Utilizing big data in health and research has several potential transformational effects that
are now foreseeable. The advantages span the organizational, administrative, strategic, operational, and infrastructural domains in the healthcare industry alone. These benefits eventually result in better patient care, more effective service delivery, and financial savings for healthcare institutions. The enhancement of the standard and accessibility of care is one instance of an operational advantage that would directly benefit patients.
