I have enabled and soaked in an infinite amount of knowledge from this course. Also, I was able to gain more comprehension regarding life coaching than ever before. Moreover, I have learned new techniques that I have already been presenting to my practicing clients. Thus, this course has motivated me personally in my walk with God by pushing me to memorize more Scriptures and to allow The Holy Spirit to intervene in my coaching sessions. Even more, I already know that without God’s help there is no way I would be able to coach and counsel clients without Him being the foundation of it all. At the same time, this course has taught me how to Besides, I have found that I have a renewed passion for this career and have found myself more convinced than ever before that this is what God wants me to do. I plan to utilize Keith Webb’s COACH Model for Christian Leaders. I want my clients to engage with each principle of connecting, helping them to create outcomes, awareness, encouraging them through staying the course, and having them highlight and communicate their progress and goals achieved (Webb, 2019, pp. 30-31). I found that having a guide to follow is helpful and keeps the sessions more organized. I also plan to continue applying my spiritual gifts through my sessions. I especially want to use the gift God has given me of exhortation by giving “words of encouragement, comfort, and consolation” (Blackaby & Royall, 2018, p. 42). I believe that by doing God’s will for my life and being able to seek His wisdom, I can pour His love and grace onto others. Romans 12:6-8 states: “Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching, the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity: the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness”
(English Standard Version). Considering everything that I have learned thus far, all I truly want is what God wants in my life. I pray that He would use me and the spiritual gifts He has graciously lavished upon me to better serve Him and bring others closer to Him.
