The time you spend examining the “competent” language for each aspect, identify what is needed in the submission as a result, and pre-writing for those needs will be time well invested towards your success on each task in the program. With that in mind, let’s take a look at Task 2: Rubric Aspect Competent Language What is needed in the submission? Notes for your submission General Teaching Dispositions The submission demonstrates behavior and disposition that align with the professional and ethical standards outlined in the SOE Professional Dispositions and Ethics. Information on this requirement is found on the SOE site. However, you do not need to write anything for this aspect in your narrative. When you re-read your work prior to submission, does the word choice express language in compliance with the professional and ethical standards outlined in the SOE Professional Dispositions and Ethics? A1 The description provides personal values that are plausibly supported by the explanation of philosophies and experiences that shaped those values, and the personal values align to professional codes of ethics for educational leadership.
