Week 3 Discussion Psychology Watching the video, I can say playing violent games is associated with aggressive behavior in 6-year-olds. As indicated in the experiment of the cognitive learning process on Bandura's social learning theory, the theory indicates that children learn through observation and imitating others. As indicated in the video, the children that had observed the adult treat the modal violently, kicking it, punching it, and even sitting on it and beating it, also started being aggressive to the modal and even added other tricks such as the use of gun which the adults had not used (The Curious Classroom, 2013). The case differed for the children in the playroom, who had not observed the adult act violently to the model. The same case applies to violent video games, and if children watch video games in which the plays have violent acts repeatedly, they will depict aggressive behavior. Children who play violent video games become insensitive to violence and develop a distorted perception of reality. The other thing that will make the children that play violent video games aggressive is the anger they experience as they play the games since playing them faces challenging tasks. They can repeatedly fail to succeed, causing them to be frustrated. References The Curious Classroom. (2013, August 30). Bandura and Social Learning Theory [Video]. Studies reveal that the four measures of central tendency include; median, mean, midrange, and mode. Depending on the context, one may want a higher or lower
measure of center ( Gupta et al.,2019). For example, in the field of medicine, in assessing the efficiency of a new drug, there will be a need for a higher measure of central tendency is preferred to show the drug's positive effect on a huge number of patients. Though assessing the possible side impacts, there is a need for a lower measure of center to get information in establishing rare and severe side effects. Another example is that in the field of education, in analyzing the student test scores, the school may prefer a higher measure of central tendency when reporting rankings to show the school is a top achiever ( Gupta et al.,2019). But when assessing personal student performance, the teacher will prefer a lower measure of center in establishing students struggling in class to offer them additional support. Lastly, in the finance department, a higher measure of central tendency is desirable in assessing stock performance over a long time to illustrate the steady stock value in growth. According to Warlick. (2019), ERISA law sets minimum standards for pension plans and additional employee benefits that private employers offer, such as life insurance, health insurance, and disability insurance. In addition, ERISA applies to private-sector employers that willingly offer employees benefits and protects various parts of plan administration, such as fiduciary responsibilities, reporting and disclosure requirements, and participant rights ( Warlick, 2019). Moreover, one advantage of ERISA is that
it identifies the standard of protection for the workers by making it mandatory for employers to meet particular requirements when offering them benefits. For instance, ERISA necessitates the workers be provided with particular information about their benefit plans, like funding sources, plan details, and possible risks ( Warlick, 2019). Knowing this information makes the employees well-informed about their benefits, ensuring they know their rights and are not taken advantage of. Nevertheless, one drawback of ERISA is that it fails to apply to all employers; hence it can leave some workers without sufficient protection since it mainly applies only to private-sector employers that willingly offer their employees benefits; hence employees from nonprofit organizations or government agencies may not be covered. One company I buy products from is Apple Inc. In terms of products, Apple is famously known for its high- quality and innovative products, such as AirPods, MacBooks, iPad, and iPhones. In addition, Apple continues to upgrade and improve its products to meet the changing customer needs and desires, making them user-friendly and highly reliable. Moreover, regarding the price of Apple's products, the products they sell are a little expensive when contrasted with other companies selling the same products. But irrespective of their expensive products, their durability, features,

and quality match the price ( Johnson et al.,2012). Their products are of high quality and luxurious, attracting customers willing to pay premium prices for them. Moreover, regarding promotion, Apple uses different marketing channels such as television, social media, online advertising, and print to promote its products. Lastly, regarding place, Apple sells its products and services using extensive distribution networks such as physical retail stores, online stores, and authorized dealers hence making its products accessible across the world. Instead of making brand promotion less important, the new technologies give consumers more control over the content they want to see and how they want to use it hence making brand promotion still significant in creating awareness and building trust amongst their consumers ( Dwivedi et al.,2021). Studies have revealed that the advancement of technology and the rise of online reviews and social media has allowed consumers to actively promote brands of the products and services they consume. In addition, consumers depend hugely on recommendations from friends and family and online reviews before deciding which purchases to make. So when a product has a strong brand, it helps increase the positive referrals that friends make to each other and more positive reviews
( Dwivedi et al.,2021). The other thing is that the new technologies have opened new doors to brand promotion since it aids them in reaching a wider audience. For example, with the new technologies, organizations can employ targeted advertising on search engines, social media platforms, and mobile apps, enabling them to reach their desired consumers.
