Stakeholders 1 Module Two – Project Preparation: Stakeholders Ashley D Terry Southern New Hampshire University
Stakeholders 2 Implementers These stakeholders are considered implementers for the COVID-19 immunization clinic in Columbia. These stakeholders include an immunization clinic Director, providers who will act as employees of the clinic, and the program coordinator. These personnel will allow for the immunization clinic to be implemented successfully. The clinic director will oversee day-to- day operations at the clinic and take part in the decision-making of operations at the immunization clinic. The director will be working toward goals set forth for the clinic including financials, staff, and volunteers, and the point of contact for the clinic. The providers and healthcare professionals will be implementing the actual care of the citizens of Columbia. These providers will be administering the vaccine, answering questions, and taking care of the clinical side of the immunization clinic. They will be able to provide information and guidance to the residents in the area as well as inform the clinic director and the coordinator of needs, issues, and ways to enhance and increase traffic to the immunization clinic. The program coordinator will be overseeing the whole humanitarian clinic and what it entails. This includes inventory, ordering, supplies, and constant contact with stakeholders in the United States. The coordinator will oversee the director when it comes to the employees of the clinic, including schedules and training. Decision Makers These stakeholders will make the decisions when it comes to the humanitarian trip and the clinic including funding, staffing, operations, and how long the clinic will be open. The first stakeholder in this group is the Center for Disease Control and Prevention or the CDC. The CDC will deliver guidelines on what vaccines and physicality the people who are going to Columbia
Stakeholders 3 for the clinic will need that are specific to the area where the clinic will be located. They will also deliver guidelines on how the clinic will work. The CDC will have the ability to study data from the immunization clinic to provide strengths and weaknesses of the clinic and ways the clinic can improve. The next stakeholder that will be involved in decision-making will be the administrative board of the healthcare organization funding the humanitarian project and the immunization clinic. The board members will be the executive decision-makers when it comes to the trip, including funding and staffing. These members will be able to coordinate with the organization's human resources department to raise awareness and knowledge about the project and the clinic. These board members will be communicating with the Clinic Director overseas to ensure everything is running successfully. The Clinic Director will be involved with implementation as well as decision-making. Participants The immunization clinic will include participants who are stakeholders in the humanitarian project as well. The first stakeholders in this area will be the residents of Columbia. These people will benefit from the clinic by getting their COVID-19 vaccines as well as more information and questions answered by healthcare professionals. The locals can also aid in the success of the clinic by volunteering and providing information to the providers that can be used to make positive changes to the clinic. Volunteers are also stakeholders that fall into this category. The volunteers will add to the success of the clinic by providing extra help and extra hands to the providers. They can help check people in, pass out information, and make sure paperwork is filled out. Partners

Stakeholders 4 Partners of the humanitarian project will vary, but some that stand out include the Columbian Health Department and the funders of the project. The Columbian Health Department can help set up the site, spread the word to the locals, and connect the program director with officials in Columbia who will be able to aid in the success of the immunization clinic. They can also provide information to ensure the safety of all the partners and volunteers who will be setting up and running the clinic. The funders of the project are partners to everyone involved. The funding ensures there will be enough supplies, employees, and vaccines to go around and keep the project funded during its entirety.
