2 I was involved with a project team with the primary purpose of developing a new software application for a client (Cazier et al., 2019). The team comprised software engineers, project managers, UX/UI designers, and quality assurance engineers. The goal was to develop a fully functioning application that met the client's requirements and was delivered on time and within budget. The team was guided by a project manager responsible for the overall direction and progress of the project. He ensured that all tasks were completed promptly and everyone was on the same page. He also supported the team members and kept the team motivated and productive. The software engineers were responsible for designing and coding the application, while the UX/UI designers focused on creating an intuitive and attractive user interface. The quality assurance engineers tested the application and provided feedback to the developers (Pihl & Mäkinen, 2020). The team ensured the application met the client's requirements and was delivered on time and within budget. We collaborated to solve any problems that came up and to make sure that the end product was of the highest quality. Overall, the team worked together to develop a successful application that would make the client happy. We used our collective knowledge and skills to create a functional and visually appealing product. The team leader determined the team members with the team's supervisor. Each team member was carefully selected based on their experience and the skills they could potentially bring to the team. The team leader interviewed each potential candidate to ensure they had the proper skill set and attitude to best fit the team. After the team leader and supervisor had come to a consensus, the team was formed. The team then created a plan and moved forward with their project. Therefore, it took longer to complete tasks with this team than it would have taken had I worked on it alone. Part of this was because more people were involved, and more discussions
3 were required before coming to a consensus. Also, the team members' different levels of experience and expertise meant more time was spent educating and training each other on the various tasks (Scholl & Scholl, 2023). The team worked effectively and efficiently to complete the tasks despite the extra time. However, there were resistors to teamwork on the team. This was addressed by having open communication and promoting a collaborative environment. Team members were encouraged to provide constructive feedback to each other, and their ideas were considered. We also implemented team-building activities, which helped to create a stronger team bond. These activities let everyone know each other better and become more comfortable. This helped create an environment of trust and understanding, allowing us to work together more effectively. Conflict on the team was addressed through open and honest communication and active listening. Team members were encouraged to voice their opinions and address any issues respectfully and civilly. When necessary, a mediator was brought in to help facilitate a resolution. In addition, team members were encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and to ensure that any disagreements that arose were resolved in a timely and amicable manner. The team worked together to ensure that conflicts were addressed promptly and effectively (Deacon & Wilson, 2021). Therefore, the team I was involved with was successful because of the commitment and dedication of each team member. Everyone had clear roles and responsibilities and was committed to fulfilling their duties and helping the team reach its goal. Each team member was also willing to communicate effectively, allowing us to make decisions quickly and efficiently. We also had a strong culture of respect and trust, which allowed us to work through our disagreements and remain focused on the goal. If the team was not successful, I believe one of the first things that needed to be done differently was to set clear goals and expectations at the

4 beginning. We also should have had more frequent check-ins to ensure everyone was on the same page. Additionally, more effort should have been put into building trust and respect between team members so that we could work together more effectively. References
