[Law enforcement and the court systems go hand and hand because they function without each other. Because when the police arrest someone from doing a crime then they most likely going to end up in the courtroom facing the judge]

What impact or lack thereof has the law had on police operations? [Law enforcement in the sanctuary cities has the right to arrest and apprehend the illegal immigrants that are in the country without permission. They can also question the status of their citizenship doing a traffic stop. Senate Bill 4, which bans sanctuary cities, law enforcement is allowed to question anyone they arrest on their immigration and citizenship status.]

Identify the functions of court systems related to sanctuary cities in the resources provided. What did this US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit do? What Constitutional issues may arise? [The US court of appeals for fifth circuit can upheld all the rules for the senate 4 bill. Some of the local authorities doesn’t have enough of the resources to stand up to the federal courts immigration system to defend their statements for the appeal]

Describe how the U.S. law enforcement and court systems relate to sanctuary cities using information from the resources provided. How did they respond to shared issues? What is at least one challenge area for the police in relationship to holding detainees? [the judicial system did its job to resolve this dispute by using a ruling from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which had the potential to reduce the scope of the law's application. "The ruling of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals permits almost all of the provisions of the bill to go into effect. The purpose is to keep the citizens safe and unharmed]
