Locate an additional secondary source relevant to your historical event. Use all four of your
sources (two primary and two secondary) to answer the questions below. Replace the bracketed
text with your responses.
Identify the topic you chose to explore:
Climate Change- Chernobyl
Attempt to write the APA style citations for your four sources. Include links to each source. You will not
be penalized for incorrect citation format.

Compare the narratives presented in your primary and secondary sources relevant to your
historical event.
The ideas in the 1
st
primary source reminiscence the autobiographical explanations of the
conclusions that the eruption at Chernobyl had on living. It provides comprehensive reports of
mortality that followed, undergoing retreat, the failure of farmland and vegetation directly to
radioactivity, and the whole effect of how considerably it altered the families’ lives. The 2
nd
primary source is shown through the story of scientists who learned about the region and by
what means climate change has intensified the radioactive land through wildfires. The
secondary sources exhibit the narrative of investigators who learned from numerous sources of
the occurrence and manufactured their results into one record. They all use the viewpoint of
environmental, shared, and political conclusions.
Describe one narrative that has significantly influenced the contemporary understanding of your
historical event.
The ecological narrative, In my opinion, has had the most impact in current times. Climate
change is a subject of the natural world. After we can observe the continuing-lasting impacts of
such an incident and how they are still significant currently, we now understand better the
damage it can produce. While a socioeconomic and political narrative can aid in the showcase
that we wanted safer policies and the direct outcome of such an incident, the environment can
declare a more destructive impact,
Explain how the chosen narrative helps you better understand your historical research question.
Please provide your revised research question and then explain how the chosen narrative helps
you better understand your historical event.
By better understanding the effects of climate change on radioactivity in the years since
Chernobyl, we have seen a reoccurrence of radionuclides caused directly by wildfires.
While I
started this project, I felt I would be researching just Chernobyl, I have since learned that I am
researching on how the explosion has caused climate change in the area since the radioactivity
caused devastation.
I now see the problems that still exist at the reactor site and area.
Please include your research question here (you will not be graded on this).
Did climate change intensify the radioactivity in the areas around Chernobyl and what long-term
effect will it have on the area?( Original)
Since the explosion of Chernobyl what has the radioactivity done to the area around and what
has it done to the climate in the area?
