When
|
started
to
conduct
my
survey
of
the
facility,
|
noticed
a
few
things
up
front.
|
started
by
scanning
the
environment.
|
was
looking
for
a
few
things
like
weaknesses,
strengths,
threats,
and
opportunities.
The
objective
of
my
SWOT
analysis
was
to
discover
where
this
organization’s
strengths
are.
For
example,
the
successes
it
has
accomplished
so
far
and
the
reasons
behind
them.
The other
objective
was
also
to
find
out
the
weakness
in
the
organization
which
conveys
together
all
fundamentals
that
the
organization
has
slowly
mastered.
Opportunities
also
exist
and
hence
represented
one
of
the
objectives
(Sharma,
2005).
|
planned
on
finding
out
what
type
of
fortunes
are
on
the
hospitals
and
how
they
can
guarantee
success
in
the
future.
way
and
that
can
guarantee
future success.
You
can
tell
by
my
week
two
diagram,
that
|
am aimed
at
determining
mostly
the
weaknesses
and
success
of
the
company
and
what would
stop
the
future
success
of
the
organization.
The following
is
where
|
list
the
findings
of
the
strengths,
weaknesses
opportunities
and
threats.
Our
Healthcare
system
has
many
strengths.
The
organization
has
become
patient
focused
on
all
aspects
from
financial
choices,
to
directing
them
through
the
hospital
when
needed.
The
hospital
has
also
been
trying
to
work
on
their
latest
technology
connectivity
between
staff
on
a
need-to-know
basis,
as
well
as
ensuring
that
they
have
continuity
of
care.
From
being
in
management
and
being
on
meetings
constantly
you
hear
a
lot
of
things
and
for
this
company
|
can
say
that
their
big
thing
is
improving
quality
of
care.
While
they
healthcare
systems
are
always
facing
threats
there
are
many
opportunities
that
are
coming
from
the
facility.
Some
of
those
opportunities
are
Hiring
and
with
that
they
are
offering
sign
on
bonus
with
higher
wages.
If
you
remember
from
my
week
one
report
that
the
hospital
is
understaffed
and
trying
to
fill
those
positions.
So,
at
these
hiring
fairs
they
are
expressing
how
the
work
environment
is
positive
and
all
the
incentives
that
come
with
it.
With
the
new
technologies
that
the
hospital
has
mastered
with
many
things.
They
also
try
to
educate
the
public
with
their
education
meetings
that
all
are
welcome
and
there
they
inform
them
on
how
they
try
to
keep
people
from
returning
to
the
hospital
by
keeping
them
healthy
and
giving
them
tips.
With
that
they
can use
tglghealty
for
minor
ilinesses.
Some
patients
have
access
to
pulse
ox,
blood
pressure
machines
and
so
forth
and
with
that
they
can
plug
them
into
a
certain
system,
and
it
will
give
the
doctors
the
information
needed
for
the
patient.
With
this
data
it
can
be
used
for
future
research
and
exploration
of
data
correlations,
but
what
it
also
does
is
provide
information
that
can
be
used
for
early
intervention
with
the
patient
if
need
in
their
treatments.
When
you
are
having
options
like
this,
it
also
an
opportunity
for
the
hospital
to
reduce
costs,
as
well
as
reduce
demand
in
the
hospital
for
minor
things.
The
main
things
the
healthcare
system
must
do
is
prioritize
what
is
important.
They
must
address
the
shortage
in
healthcare
employees,
it’s
a
huge
thing
and
we
are
needed
everywhere.
Like
|
stated
in
last
weeks
they
need
to
stick
to
higher
wages
and
incentives
and
well
as
stick
to
yearly
raises
no
matter
what.
This
may
include
hiring
more
nurse
practitioners,
physician
assistants
and
so
forth
to
help
ease
the
shortage.
Capitalizing
on
nurses
in
advanced
practice
to
increase
patients’
access
to
emergency
and
critical
care
is
appealing
