Time management in a writing assignment is the process someone uses to make sure they are giving themselves enough time to meet their deadline and present sufficient work. For example, scheduling out time to complete each part of the writing assignment before it is due.
Information management in a writing assignment is the process of organizing and formatting your ideas and information before actually writing the assignment
EGCC College Catalog "Academic and Student integrity" explains that students will be held accountable for any academic dishonesty, inappropriate use of school equipment, and criminal activity done on school grounds or using school equipment or software.
EGCC College Catalog "Attendance" details what is expected of the student as far as attending the course. So, since this course is online, attendance is calculated by submitting assignments and discussions as well as the responses to other students' discussion answers.
Student Code of Conduct explains how students should conduct themselves while attending the college. In terms of writing, multiple instances of plagiarism would violate the code of conduct. The process to resolve a code of conduct violation involves trying to resolve the matter between the student and professor through a verbal or written reprimand. If that doesn't work then the violation could be brought to the college dean or department supervisor. Where they will investigate to come up with a resolution between the student a and faculty member and propose sanctions. IF that doesn't work the student can appeal the decision with the appropriate college official who will investigate the violation and consult an administrative team to determine a fair and consistent decision. Each of these steps are reported in the student complainant log. If the violation happens more than one the sanctions become harsher and can result in expulsion.
Plagiarism is not crediting the original source of information or work. Essentially passing someone else's work off as your own. Paraphrasing is rephrasing information from a source in your own words but still using citations to credit the source of the information.

I don't think my understanding of the concepts really changed too much. I think the time management and information management reading helped me the most with ideas about how to improve my own writing process. I’ll definitely be using the calendar early alerts to keep myself
on track when writing something that has a deadline. I also like the paraphrasing checklist because it gave me an idea of what to check for when paraphrasing, which will help with citing information.
