Surname 1 Student Name Professor Name Course Date Discussion Question 1 The wellness article highlights that fitness and the well-being of individuals is an aspect that has been considered essential by many people (Routledge 1). However, the modern view of well-being needs to consider outward-focused actions as well as future-oriented goals. The most desired wellness should provide an appreciative human potential that emphasizes personal growth and community development. Question 2 The history of wellness has formed the foundation of understanding the word and the key concepts discussed in wellness (Global Wellness Institute 1). Through looking at the history of wellness, one gets to understand how religion, philosophy, and medicine influenced the drugs, diet, and meditation one does in the name of seeking wellness. Question 3 One of the age-related differences is the muscle mass and the bone density decline that reduce over time when an individual grows old. It affects the training, cueing, and program design as it determines the type of exercise, the rate and duration one does, and one's ability to sustain vigorous exercises.
Surname 2 Question 4 I identify most with embracing critics as a way of staying positive (Caprino 1). This aspect is essential to me as I understand how disastrous critiques could be to a person’s health and well-being. I take every critique positively, thus not allowing them to demoralize me but using them as a pillar in my life. Question 5 Genetic variation is a crucial factor influencing whether the exercise is aerobic or anaerobic (Hughes et al., 1). People possess different genes; hence, they should be gauged to bring out their muscle content, oxygen intake, and ability to sustain an activity. The records would help choose the most efficient exercise in order to avoid accidents.
