E) Identify best interdisciplinary collaboration practices to assist a group to accomplish its goals and work more effectively together. Overview of My Interdisciplinary Scenario I was working as a medical nurse for a rehabilitation healthcare organization in the community. I was allocated a role as a leader of a team of interdisciplinary trainers accountable for training the workers at a newly developed facility. A majority of us were part of the successful training groups in the past and had known that there could be challenges. Unluckily, the issues experienced were unlike anything we have ever encountered. My role as a group leader was to instruct nursing personnel on the procedures, policies, and software applied for patient electronic medical records (EMRs). The new health facility was earlier part of the community hospital network; because of low productivity that unit was sold to my healthcare center. A majority of the workers present were former employees of the previous regime and had their ways of working. Strategies for Human and Financial Resources Furthermore, as a team leader, I noted that strategies for management of resources to promote organizational health include establishing clear duties and roles and encouraging honest and open communication. Clearly defined responsibilities and roles may assist team participants in comprehending their roles in the corporation and how they add to achieving its
3 goals. It can also assist in preventing duplication of duties and guarantee that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently (Davis et al., 2020). In addition, effective communication has been asserted to be vital for facilitating coordination and collaboration among members of the team. Further, specific ways in which poor collaboration may lead to inefficient human and financial resources management comprised of wasted resources and time, and lack of networking. I discovered that poor collaboration may result in misunderstandings and confusion among members of the team, which may lead to misusing resources and time consuming. The financial expenses incurred to accommodate and transport generated little progress and were consequently compounded when the leaders of teams from the hospital had to be dispatched to other sites for coexisting training. It is noted that collaborations between corporations accomplish more than either company might accomplish by itself. There is a need to cut the cost of operation and enhance productivity (Kwak et al., 2019). The hospital was among the five mergers in the Pacific-Southwest and after many months was positioned with the lowest earnings in terms of profitability. I nterdisciplinary Collaboration and Leadership Tactics Further, I noted that some of the best-practice interdisciplinary collaboration approaches that can aid the team in aattaining its objectives and working more effectively together include the use of technology to enhance cooperation and communication and the use of change leadership mechanisms and management theories. Effective change management and leadership approaches, for example, setting clear objectives and goals, and promoting team problem-solving may aid in supporting interdisciplinary groups to function effectively together and obtain desired outcomes (Pascucci et al., 2020). The leadership, IT, management, and nurses must have been operating together; although the process failed because of lack of cooperation.

4 Conclusion The reflection offered further insight into the way inefficient collaboration and communication may lead to a project encountering challenges and in the worst scenario failure. In summary, the key to effective and efficient interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership in healthcare is effective communication, a culture of mutual trust and respect, and clear responsibilities and roles among members of the team.
