ENVIRONMENTS DESIGN ASSIGNMENT 30 % (Due Week 14) Part B – 10% Objective: Reflection on Design for play environment considering responsiveness to the development/needs of infants, toddlers, preschool, or middle childhood. Individually , students will reflect on the environment design for a selected age range that they’ve completed and presented in 1-2 pages double spaced. Consider the following: Was there a focus on inclusion, anti-bias practice and integrative curriculum? If so, explain how this was reflected in the design. If inclusion, anti-bias practice and integrative curriculum wasn’t considered, what would you change about the design? In sharing your design with your peers, what questions, concerns, or acknowledgements were raised? Would this feedback from your peers influence some changes to your design? Please explain the reasons for considering a change or not considering a change. How has your experience in field placement influenced your design choices?
