Proofreading Service – This service is helpful in all the work that needs to be submitted to be scored. There will be wait times for it, but I know that will boost my morale in order to be confident in turning assignments in. I will get the work reviewed by professors and other friends who do not know of the subject just to check on my grammar. I know this will be a great help in my PhD program.
Group Session and Events Calendar – This will be very valuable as we can engage with other students to see what ideas they have and sometimes it can change the way the paper is written.
Some ideas can arise when this method is used because it is especially important to input other things that might be seen as interesting for other people. By using this, everyone reading
the article can be well informed and be engaged in the subject. The broken-down parts of the proofreading service can be extremely useful because in the end
one can text the coach and ask them while they are at work, and it might be later when one gets a response but, in the end, you will get a response. There are several times where no one can help at the moment. You email the professor and there is no answer for a week. Being in this program I know it is quite different and get a response quick.

Problem Statement overview will be valuable in what one will go on writing for the whole program. One knows that is the most important part and it will build on little by little. It will be working progress in which one will have a finished product. The other program offered is the Great Start Self Registration class which is in NCUOne. The courses offered will help prepare us for a long journey ahead, that is for the ones we will encounter. Some will have Dissertation Center and others will have Applied Doctoral Center. It is truly a blessing that this is offered in our course where there is immense help in circumstances that one will face later on. Later on in my years, there will be several ideas of going to a bootcamp to do the dissertation. I know that being active with my peers and faculty will be helpful in my success in my program. I love the idea of getting to meet others and engage with them during the end of my program.
Describe two or three strategies gleaned from the Work/Life video you intend to use to
be more successful in this program.
Strategies that will be used from the video will be peer support through the Commons application that is on the portal. I know even though one may be doing different studies, we can get help and advice from each other. Another strategy discussed in this is family support. I know for me right now is different as the video discussed facts about how others will have to
overtake chores and other duties while one finishes the studies one has to do. We all have to work as a team and that will end up helping. The last strategy that will be most used, which might be the most important, is that of time management. Our lives are so busy, but we have
to put our priorities straight in order to achieve a well done at the end of the day or a major satisfaction.
Describe your strategy for incorporating faculty feedback into your weekly work.
After watching the video, I can see that using faculty feedback is a big deal in the world we live in today. It can be seen by different circumstances and that can be some help in which it can limit the amount of stress you will have. Working each week with the professor after seeing their feedback is what I did for Week 1. I know now that this cannot be done. It has to be done in the middle because it is how successful you will be througouht your study program.
