VIDEO REFLECTION-PART2 1)Mehdi advises us to tell a story. Where does he suggest we might go to find material for our stories? Why do stories work? Ans1) Mehdi suggests that telling a story is the best way to establish your position. He claims that we all have a story from our past that describes a time when we faced a challenge or devised a strategy to complete a task. In addition, what specific choices or actions did you make to achieve that? Finally, what were the results and how did they work out for you? Both are professional and enjoyable forms of expression and stories. It aids in establishing an emotional bond that provides a better and more accurate means of comprehension. 2) You’re getting ready for a job interview. What should you find and put together before the interview? Why, in terms of a prospective employer’s needs? Ans2) First impressions are crucial, so make sure you're well-groomed, have your resume or portfolio organized, and don't forget to bring a pen when getting ready for an interview. All these minor details are crucial to your interview. Additionally, it is crucial to bring any old grades, transcripts, or statistics/data that can demonstrate how hiring you would be advantageous for the business. All of these things can affect your decision-making and help you stand out from the crowd, so they are extremely important. 3) Explain the “Go to Market Strategy.” How would you prepare yourself for this part of your Pre-Launch Stage? What would you gain from following his advice? Ans3) The phrase "go-to-market strategy" refers to the set of abilities, traits, or values that set you apart from the competition. To put it another way, it refers to your strategy for entering a market. To enter a market, I would gather information from various sources and research my competitors to improve my knowledge and strategies because the market changes over time, making it crucial to stay current. By heeding Mehdi's advice, I came to understand that I could gain a lot of experience and advice from others, which could prove to be very helpful for me before I enter the market and possibly give me a sense of what to expect. 4) Your Promotional Material: why will this stage of your Pre-Launch process take more time? What makes up your promotional material and what should it say about you? Ans4) Promotional material can include résumés, business cards, and profiles on social media sites like LinkedIn or Indeed. Because they demonstrate your level of professionalism and set you apart from the competition, it typically takes time to develop these valuable tools, so experience and time are needed. All these promotional materials need to demonstrate your hard and soft skills, unique qualities, and level of commitment. All these elements may be very important in helping you stand out from the crowd and express yourself professionally.
5) Your Value Proposition: What questions should you ask yourself as you reflect on creating your value proposition? Why should you consider the company you’re applying to and not just the HR person you may meet? Which of Mehdi’s recommendations has the most resonance for you personally? Ans5) We can advance by having a distinctive mindset, so it's important to ask yourself a few questions, such as what makes you different from others or, in other words, what makes you unique. or what actions you can take to simplify matters for your employer, lessen the workload, or add value to the ongoing operations of your organization. Finding out, for instance, who you are, what you excel at, and what other things motivate you. With the development of technology and knowledge, the majority of information about a company is now available online. If a person finds a company that has objectives, missions, and goals that align with what they want to be a part of, applying to that organization/company may be the best choice. Mehdi's advice, which resonates with me, is to learn more about yourself through a variety of books and online personality tests that can reveal your hidden talents.
