My teaching philosophy for technology use in the classroom is I believe that technology may improve the learning process when used as additional reinforcement rather than a replacement for education. I want all my students to be motivated and eager to learn, and I feel the use and presence of technology in the classroom can help. I do not believe that teachers should limit the use of technology in the classroom. Technology is ever-changing and I feel that as a society in today’s world, technology is a major component of the classroom and especially important to use in the classroom. Some other parts of my education technology philosophy are that technology can be used in my classroom for collaboration, access to information and other resources, connects students to the real world and supports different learning in the classroom. Collaboration can be used through technology in my classroom by facilitating technology through shared documents, data, and assignments. Teachers can have students use online platforms to do certain assignments, such as typing an essay through the use of Google Docs or doing a presentation by using the online platform of Google Slides or Microsoft Slides. I also want to encourage the use of technology in my classroom to give my students' motivation and make them eager to learn. I want to create a classroom environment where the use of technology is encouraged and collaboration through the use of technology. As a teacher, I will reward my students when they are trying their best and working hard in the classroom, especially when they are using technology correctly and efficiently. For example, I can pick a student of the week, “an outstanding” student in the class each week, and go over their performance and efforts. When students in my class see this, they will want to be successful and do well in my class. The more I show magnificent effort and work, the more my students will be engaged during class. I will also

reinforce good behavior because of working hard and being engaged and motivated in my classroom through the use of technology. Technology can be used in the classroom to enhance student's learning in the classroom. Teachers can help students do this through online educational platforms to share resources and information with their students. Teachers can share online platforms that support digital textbooks, multimedia content, interactive modules, and assignments. Teachers can use the online platforms of Khan Academy, Google Slides, and Zoom to present materials, information, and lessons to their students. For example, a teacher could do a lesson using Zoom and show Google Slides students can follow along with and understand the material by seeing the information visually and auditory as well. Technology can also connect students to real-world situations. An example of how a teacher can connect her students and classroom to real-world situations is by doing a field trip virtually if the school cannot and cannot afford to go to those specific buildings or places. An example of this could be through the teacher giving a virtual tour of a famous place like the Eiffel Tower in a history lesson in the classroom. Technology allows us as educators to remove the physical barriers of the classroom, providing students with a means of connecting the curriculum to the real world and those areas of academic focus that can truly enrich the student experience. Last, technology will be used in my classroom to promoting and integrate different learning through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. For the visual learners in my classroom, I will create a PowerPoint for my students to follow along with key points and pictures to help them understand the material I am presenting. auditory apps such as Audio Books and play a book aloud for students to follow along with during a lesson. As a teacher, I could also use videos as well for them to listen along with so they will understand the lesson and material they are learning more in-depth. For the kinesthetic learners in my classroom, I could use different online platforms and databases in interactive activities to learn new concepts. For example, a lot of different online websites have interactive programs to help students in any subject. Overall, technology is a very helpful tool for me as an educator to use in the classroom, especially in today’s society where most everything happens or occurs online.
