I believe what made the difference for students is the fact that the teacher allowed each student to take their time to present their idea of perfect booth, the rest of the class listened and paid attention to the classmate presenting, and the teacher gave positive feedback. The teacher did not try to rush them through the presentations, and I think this helped those students who are shy to not feel pressured. Did you notice any problems? If yes, how were they addressed? I did not notice any problems in this video. Making Connections- For each video, you will choose one concept from the list below and discuss how the video case connects it. Building relationships. In this video, the teacher promoted building relationships between the students by having the students work together as a group to design a trade show booth. All students were very active; they engaged in brainstorming ideas, using marketing concepts previously learned in class and worked collaboratively. All students were polite with each other when disagreeing on a design and explained why they did not think that design would work, their explanations were respectful towards one another. “one on one” interaction. Did you notice any problems? If yes, how were they addressed? High Leverage Practices. The teacher practiced high leverage practices by allowing each group to present their project, in this case a bridge, and asked questions such as “is that price for one truss or all together?” and “what kind of things are you putting in your speech?”; the teacher also provided constructive feedback. This promotes students to use critical thinking skills and ask questions to the teacher in order to help them understand the math concepts and find the answer. Overall Reflection:   In 3 well-crafted paragraphs, address the following questions after watching all required videos (200 to 300 words each paragraph) In your overall reflection, please include clear and relevant references to your readings and the videos. Comments (a) What did you notice about the effectiveness and ineffectiveness of teachers within your content area?  Learning is an interactive, social experience that requires communication between the learners and their peers as well as their teachers. (Koch, 2020, p.17). In the first video, the teacher explained what she was expecting as the outcome of the lesson and allowed the students to engage with each other in order to design a functioning trade booth that attract the customers; all the students previously worked alone to create what they think would work as a trade booth and then worked together as a group piecing together different ideas from their original designs. (b)  What did you notice about the effectiveness and ineffectiveness of teachers outside your content area? Progressivism is an educational philosophy that stresses active learning through problem solving, projects, and hands-on experiences. (Koch, 2020, p. 41). The teacher in the second video used progressivism as his educational philosophy; the students were actively working on a project, in this case building a bridge, and preparing a speech to present their project, including costs and material used. (c) What are your overall conclusions about teaching based on these videos?  Hybrid Field Experience Rubric
