Support students can look different when the students have exceptionalities. Often people assume
that the students with disabilities are unteachable but it’s important to find a learning method that works for them. Many students are hands on learners meaning they learn easier when they are presented with something in front of them to break down and show how the problem works together to get a specific answer. Supporting all the students in the classroom is important and this can be done by having group assignments or whole class involvement. One great way to do this would be splitting the class into groups and playing learning games like trashcan basketball this is where the teacher asks a question and picks a group to answer once they answer that group then gets to pick the next group to answer the question and who ever ends up with the most points at the end wins the game. This is a great way to involve everyone so whether the student is above or below average they work together to get an answer. The students who are below average can see how the other students process the question and they are learning the answers to the questions for any upcoming quiz or assignment. Bradley, H.
