Great waves toss and turn with great force. Rushing as they collide with the earth soaking the soft
sand. The ocean seemed to be howling as every wave grew as tall as a mountain. Slowly, the water
creeps forward, then lazily seeping back in the vast ocean, only to do the same over and over again.
The deep sea is a mysterious place where sea creatures lurk beneath the waves. Blue, sparkling
water is everywhere you look with no end. The humming waves seem to whisper as if telling me the
most confidential secret. You can never really hear them clearly until you dive in deeper and deeper.
I breathe in the warm air as I gaze out at my beautiful home. So wide I'm not even certain I've seen
all it's beauty that lies beneath. I can see the shadows of tiny fish swimming above the soft sand.
They are so small they look as though they are microscopic. I reach down and run my hands through
the wet substance that is so thick that my muscles grow tired the deeper my hand goes. As I lift my
hand up, the sand makes a cloud of powder, slowly drifting through the water. The waters are so
calm as though nothing could anger them. Each wave slowly rocking back and forth to the rhythm
of the sea. I lower my fins beneath the water and a coolness rushes through me as I feel the cold, wet
water. The soft breeze brushes against my skin with the scent of an indescribable satisfaction. Hours
passed as the warmth of the sun seemed to just soak into my skin and relax my mind. As the day
goes on, it

Descriptive Essay On An Island
The first thing that hit me was the sound. The sounds of birds, the sound of the sea crawling onto the
sand. I felt million grains of sand underneath my feet and the cool breeze against my face.
Moreover, the tantalizing scent of the washed–up waves, coconut, and pineapple are all mixed into
one. As I opened my eyes, I was amazed by how easily fantasy and reality intertwined at that
moment. It was like continuing a dream after waking up. So I dragged myself up and turn my head
to the east. While the sky in the opposite direction was still dark, the dawn on the east side already
broke. A mixture of yellow and orange on the horizon beneath a dark neon blue ocean of night had
begun to peek out. As the sun continuously rose, all of the purple and deep blue faded away, and the
sun took its mighty position at the top of the sky, shining so very blindingly beautiful.
After I watched the sunrise, my mood lifted. Notwithstanding, I still feel threatened for I got trapped
on an island. I stood there for a moment and tried to figure out how I got to this island. A series of
quick flashback of a shipwreck, and a big storm. Consequently, I have a severe headache, so I
decided to sit down in the sand
. While sitting down, I observe the island and find that I was
surrounded by water and some other islands. The water around the island was as clear as crystal, to
the point I can see the depths of the sea. Again, I dragged myself up and turn to the back; it seemed
like a tropical paradise. There were multitudes of greenery, lush foliage that looked like they were
painted on.
I walk deeper into the island. Nowhere, the sound of the birds started to raise up. It brought freedom
and happiness to the mind. Beautiful flowers in reds, yellows, purples, and pinks lounged happily
along the banks of small streams. Following the streams, it allowed me to hear the playful sound of
the water lapping on the rocks, and the sound of leaves rustling when the wind blew gently, bringing
with it a feeling of peace and tranquility. Continuing through the trees, my stomach started growling
like a monster who is ready to eat its prey. Accordingly, the smell of fruits suddenly arises on my left
side so I made my way toward the fruity smell,

Descriptive Essay On Dystopia
Dystopian Setting
The city that once had homed thousands and been the most economically successful country ever,
was now a contaminated wasteland. The land looked dry, destroyed and lonely. The morning breeze
felt like crying sorrows, and the grey deceitful sky awed down at us. In the deepest corner of despair
lies dystopia where hope dies. As someone looks through the eyes of the devil, they see his utopia
.
Only visible by the dim light of the moon was the great wall. Beyond the wall
? No one knew.
Stretching away from the wall was a humongous bridge that towered the wall. Standing tall on the
bridge was a tower, which had two circles that almost looked like eyes. Those mysterious, creepy
and dangerous looking eyes stared down at the city giving away a haunting look.
The reek of death hangs in the air throughout the land. Filling the mouths of those who lived in this
abandoned land was the taste of burnt garlic. The screams and cries of terror undistinguishable
between beast and human fill the ears of the last ones living. The sky
, which was lit by the glow of
fires, is grey and empty. Decaying bodies and

As I walked, the air of this haunted, dreadful and sorrowful land had sucked the life out of
everything and roared as humanity began to disappear. As I carried on walking, I noticed that the
small fraction of light was getting smaller and smaller, until it had been engulfed into a think black
ash like smoke. Aggressively, the wind walked past the building with its cruddy feeling, blowing
away all signs of life. Deeper and deeper into the land was a burning car door. The fire roared and
crackled. The roaring and crackling of the burning car door merged with the aggressive air and
created the loudest sounds ever heard on land. Growing darker, the skies made me feel nauseous.
The fear of not waking up if a human fell asleep towered

Descriptive Essay About Art
The more I learn about art in art class the more I pay attention to everything I see. I try to understand
the meaning of each art I see, and what the artist is trying to inform me or to the world. In the study
of art you have to pay attention to every detail in an art work and what color or shapes he or she
used. Of all the art works that I saw in the Museum of Fine Arts
, there were three art works which I
preferred out of hundreds of arts works in the museum. The very first art work that I saw at the
museum is one of my favorite ones. The artist that created the art work his name is Frederic
Remington. His art work is an American made in 1861–1909. The painting was made with oil paint
on canvas to make it look shinny. The painting is representational because the three horse raiders
resemble real things from the real world. In this painting Frederic Remington creates tension by
suspending the action at its climax. As the raiders and horses rush headlong into the viewer's space,
the fate of the fallen raider is unclear. While the facial expressions of the raiders appear calm, the
rearing heads and flared nostrils of the horses convey the horror of the scene. His painting catches
your eye right away because of the light colors he uses to distinguish between the sky and the
terrain. The color of the sky looks very realistic because of the combination of colors blue and
white. Yet he didn't use white for the clouds, but you can tell that it is sunny because of the shadow

Descriptive Essay About A Hero
When talking about a hero, some people might think of a veteran, a fire fighter, or even superman.
The definition of the word "hero" varies between different people; however, my definition of a hero
is someone who is selfless, brave, and strong. Someone who doesn't runaway when things get hard,
who gives their all just for the wellbeing of others regardless of the strain it puts on themselves.
When thinking of the word "hero" the only person who comes to my mind is my cousin Cassy.
Cassy fits my own personal description of a hero; she is selfless, brave, and strong. She doesn't run
away when things get tough and most importantly, she looks out for others no matter what the
situation is. What is a hero to you? On September 24th of 2017, my parents, along with my sister
and I, walked into my grandma's house around three o'clock in the afternoon. My aunt Patty had told
us she had very important news for us to hear that evening. As we sat down in the living room of my
grandma's small condo, everybody looked at one another awkwardly waiting for someone to speak
first. My mom started the conversation by asking how long my aunt was going to be in town. My
aunt slightly teared up as she tried to spit out her response. She began to tell us that she was actually
moving back home to Fargo from the farm place her and her boyfriend lived at near Devils Lake.
My aunt started to stutter after a while and then finally blurted out the sentence that nobody ever
wants to hear come from a loved

Descriptive Essay About Myself
I find it extremely tough to talk about myself and my personal traits. In order for me to dIscuss who
I am in an accurate manner then I must provide some basic background information on myself and
talk about the Environment I grew up in. This way people can get a better understanding of why I
am the way I am. My Background is so essential In making me myself because If I had been born
under any different circumstances or grew up any differently I would be a different person than I am
today. I was born in Aberdeen Scotland but raised in Fort Bend County Texas. Aberdeen and Fort
Bend both have great opportunities but differ in many ways. One way in which they differ is that
Fort Bend is very culturally diverse while in Aberdeen most of

Her family communicates to one another using spanish or sometimes english. I have always grown
up in a family that speaks only english so I find it interesting to go over to other people's houses and
hear them communicating in another language. On top of all of this meeting different people has
also opened my mind to new ideas. For example, in school when we work in group projects we
collaborate and communicate with people who think differently than us then work together to figure
out whose ideas will work the best and how to improve them.
Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic
circumstances. I have always had access to anything I needed and for that I have extreme gratitude
because I know some people have a lot of difficulty in life. Since I was born into a family with such
good economic circumstances I have been lucky to have lots of opportunities. One Opportunity I
had as a child was participating in taekwondo. I did taekwondo until I reached a blackbelt which
took years of hardwork and dedication. I had to memorize forms, Spar with other competitors and
break boards in order to continue to move up to the next level. Taekwondo also helped keep me in
good shape and fit when I was younger. Another Opportunity I am grateful for is the skill of playing
the piano. At first I was not all that enthusiastic about playing it but my parents has signed me up

Descriptive Essay About A River
"I thought how lovely and how strange a river is. A river is a river, always there, and yet the water
flowing through it is never the same water and is never still. It's always changing and is always on
the move. And over time the river itself changes too. It widens and deepens as it rubs and scours,
gnaws and kneads, eats and bores its way through the land. Even the greatest rivers must have been
trickles and flickering streams before they grew into mighty rivers. Are people like that? Am I like
that?" – Aiden Chambers. I grew up alongside the Mississippi River and now I have the privilege to
have the mighty river in my backyard again. This great river is just as beautiful as I remembered. On
Thursday evening, as the sun began to quickly set and the sky became a beautiful oil color painting
with many variations of pinks, yellows, and blues. When I looked to my left, I saw pink clouds that
looked as if someone painted them to the sky with a dry paint brush. There is a line trees just below
the wispy clouds. One the trees in the middle were a little taller than the others. Across the river in
Illinois, there is a large power tower. The tall grass in the field on the left blocked me from seeing
the river about 20 feet away from me. The dry, sandy path I parked my four–wheeler on was torn up
with ruts from the constant large trucks full of people who enjoy the river as much as me. Straight
ahead of me, the river is calmly pushing a large piece of driftwood south along with the currents.
There is a line of tall, green trees across the Mississippi river in Illinois. The sand bar over there is
covered in brown rocks. The sand bar in front of me looks very similar. There are rocks and dirt, all
the same light brown that makes me you feel like it hasn't rained in years. Tall green grass lines the
sides of the dirt path that I drive my four–wheeler down to the edge of the water. There a rock dyke
that jolts out one third of the way into the water. This is to keep the rush of the water calm. Parked
on the sandbar in front of me is a white Ford F150 and a black Mercury Milan. Three men and one
woman accompany these vehicles. One man is walking down the dyke, while the others stay
crowded around prepping their

Descriptive Essay About The Ocean
Nevertheless, the comforting white clouds began to stretch and darken swirling themselves into a
silvery metallic vortex. Majestic and alive a giant eye looked down upon me, with a menacing
gleam, like it wanted to toy with me then changed its mind due to mere insignificance within its
domain, and more important business for itself. My tiny body amid this vast strange universe,
staring at the gunmetal clouds, overcome with motion sickness that I had never experienced before.
Otherworldly, the impossible spinning waves tunneled through my cells, and with it this time – the
smell of death. It hit like a copper truck slamming into me creating a hole to dump its load of rotten
eggs, human waste, cheap perfume, and rotting meat forcing my cells to explode from the inside out.
It ignited a force of nausea in me so strong my head jerked and I blew out blood, vomit, and a
silvery black ooze into my regulator. I kept purging the exhaust valve of excess blood, vomit, and
liquid metal. The distinct smell of death became a taste I couldn't expel. An unholy taste of metallic
death. The opposite spinning double waves kept moving through me, shattering my core with its
opposing directions.
Bright, iridescent metallic flashes outlined every wave
's form; inside an internal beast of hematite
black. But why? Why is the ocean changing? The ocean, my friend? Into what, and what was it
changing me into? I tried to grasp it as if it was on the tip of my tongue, but it wasn't, I couldn't

Descriptive Essay On A Morning
Mornings just great. Us early birds have the gift of watching the world around us come back to life
after being so tired. We all know most people don't like mornings simply because it interrupts sleep.
Yeah, something you can do when you're dead. I turned to the window delighted to see a bright gray
sky; just one giant cloud covering that asshole of a sun so it can't burn my skin and give me cancer.
Sure, your idea of a beautiful day might include blue skies and fairies, but I never asked you. Today
was
....
Friday. Nothing special going on, so I'd have the regular classes.
I threw on a black t–shirt and skinny jeans that were slung over my crappy desk chair and ran my
fingers through my hair to work out any rats while making my way through a dim hallway to the
kitchen. My house is just one big dim hallway with rooms.
"Hey." My mom was already at work in the kitchen as always. She had the same dazed expression
on her face as she did every morning as she did her tedious mom–chores. Every day she had to wash
dishes, do laundry, cook food, pick up stuff around the house, etc.
She set down a plate with a small cinnamon roll drenched in white icing out on the table:"Here, eat
this before you leave."
"Nah."
"You need to eat something for breakfast, it's not good to skip meals." She nagged.
"Says who?"
"Says me. I read somewhere about it; they did quite a few studies on it."
"Hn, Bye." The screen door slammed shut before my mother could finish her pointless lecture. I
wasn't going to be late for school because of a cinnamon roll.
Most kids get their parents to drive them nowadays, but walking is a perfect opportunity for some
alone–
time
. People can just come find and interrupt my reveries even in my own home, but when I
walk, I'm traveling, and no one's going to try and catch up to me. Just thoughts, music, and burly
trees looming over cracked sidewalks. For the most part, it's a peaceful yet uneventful journey.
Other than dogs occasionally carrying on or people leaving early for work, there are almost no
interruptions.
Chg–chg–chg–chg. I grinned at the sound of a train beginning to rumble across rickety, old railroad
tracks. Somehow, I couldn't help but smile during moments like these. Soon the train

What is Leadership? Essay
Leadership is a difficult word to define and according to the Miriam–Webster Dictionary leadership
is the "office or position of a leader" (Miriam–Webster, 2010). This definition is definitely not one
that I would ascribe to when discussing leadership. My definition of leadership is "the ability
someone has to motivate and empower others to achieve a goal." Some may add to this definition,
others may discard it altogether and have a completely different definition. In the end, leadership
takes on many different forms depending on who is doing the defining and we end up asking
ourselves, what is leadership and why do we care? J. Thomas Wren (1995) put together a book to
help leaders define leadership for themselves. The Leader's

As Gardner (1990) points out "Most men and women go through their lives using no more than a
fraction – usually a rather small fraction – of the potentialities within them" (p. 7). I happen to agree
with Gardner on this point. As a teacher you see numerous children who, with the proper training,
could be very great, positive leaders; yet due to their home situation or lack of self–confidence these
children grow up never knowing they have that possibility inside them. "We can do better. Much,
much better" (Gardner, 1990 p. 7). Along with Gardner (1990) Wren introduces Burns (1978) who
wrote The Crisis of Leadership. Initially, I thought a crisis in leadership was happening today
because according to Burns (1978) "One of the most universal cravings of our time is a hunger for
compelling and creative leadership" (p. 8). However, we need to keep in mind that Burns wrote
about this in 1978. So leadership and those who lead have been having problems for a number of
decades. "If we know all too much about our leader, we know far too little about leadership" (Burns,
1978 p. 9). What Burns was trying to bring to the forefront was the idea that we, as a public, know
far too much about the personal lives of our leaders. The media has been able to bring personal
situations into our homes that we would not otherwise be

Description Of A Car Accident Essay
Essay 1: Car Accident The clock read 4:38 pm and we knew we had to be home by 5:00 pm. Ifraz
and I sat patiently in the car waiting for Nida and my sister. As soon as they arrived, we quickly left
on our excursion back home. The sun began to set through the cracks in the clouds and darkness was
creeping in. The day consisted of a few sprinkles here and there which was just enough to moisten
the roads. On the journey home, I was in the driver 's seat while Ifraz was beside me and my sister
and Nida were in the back. We all got lost into our conversations and had a great time telling jokes
to one another. I kept my eye on a dark blue car right in front of us which seemed to be in a rush.
Just as I took my eyes off the car and looked at Ifraz to speak to him, the car in front of us swerved
into the right lane. As I looked back onto the road, I searched for the dark blue car, but it was
already ahead of two cars in the right lane. My vision turned back to the road in front of me. Just as I
did so, my stomach clenched and I held in my breath as I saw a stopped vehicle waiting to turn left
about 30 feet in front of me. Thoughts began flooding into my mind on how to maneuver around
this vehicle. As I looked to my right for an escape route, another car was right beside me, blocking
the getaway. I abruptly pressed on the brakes and all I heard were the tires screeching, trying to
grasp onto the slippery road to stop themselves. Time seemed to slow down a great deal while we
tried

Description of My Room Essay
The place where I feel the most comfortable, and show my personality, is my bedroom. This is the
place where I can really be myself and do what I want; it's the place I come home to, and wake up
every day. My room makes me feel comfortable because it is my own space. My house is always
crazy, with my dog barking, and my siblings running around making noise, my room is the only
place in the house where I can come and relax without caring about everything else, the only place
that I can go to clear my mind
.
My room has many characteristics of which I share; it has many pictures that I have taken, about my
friends or other interesting things that I have found. It is the only place that I can make my own, I
can be creative and decorate

Another reason that my room makes me feel comfortable is that I love to dance, but I am
embarrassed to do it in front of other people, so whenever I am in my room I can turn the radio and
put on some of my favorite music and dance my best. My room gives me the confidence that I don't
have in other places, it helps me to have trust in myself, I can do the most ridiculous thing but my
room won't say anything, it will never judge me. My room is the only place where I will try new
things and if I feel confident I will try them outside of it. I will give it my best and that is how my
room helps me, by doing something there first I believe more in myself.
It is the place where I can concentrate and think about everything that is going on around me, not
only around my city or state, but all over the world. I get the chance to relax and think in what I
want to do with my life, the kind of future I want to achieve. My room is the place where I can go
and do my homework without getting distracted, where I can write down my feelings and open my
mind to new ideas. Many times I have gone to my room and just write about things that are going
around in the world that will affect me sooner or later, like global warming. I will think about
everything I have heard, and my room makes me feel comfortable like there is nothing that can stop
me from making a comment and saying what is on my mind.
The way I act in my bedroom, and the way I act outside are

Descriptive Essay About The Great Flood
The Great Flood Standing outside, clinging onto my balcony rail, watching the rain pour down from
the dark, gloomy sky, I wondered would it ever end. Each drop of rain continuously hitting the
concrete of the parking lot, had formed into a lake. It got depressing, watching the news, and
hearing the reporters saying, "The rain fall would be continuous for another 4 more days." "This is
sickening," my mom said, as she paced back and forth in the living room. Misery appeared on her
face, and my dad's, except my little brother seemed unaware of the natural disaster that was
occurring. "Mommy there's a pool outside," said Lalon. "No sweetheart, you can't swim in that
water it's contaminated with yucky things!" After realization of the

It was just the matter of being patient while waiting for the boats to arrive. Loud knocks and deep
voices came from behind the doors of the apartment complex from the boat men. "Last call!" the
boatmen were yelling out. They had many more routes to pick up other helpless individuals. The
stairs were halfway under water, and we had to walk through the infectious waters just to get into
the boat. It only was room for my mom, little brother and I, so dad had to wait for the next boat. The
looks on everyone's faces were dazed, as we sailed past a school bus literally underwater and our
neighborhood grocery store, but you could only see the top of the sign. It was so silent while we
rode, all you heard was the roaring engine from the boat. As we went around the corner, it appeared
to be another world, there was not one drop of water. How could it only flood in certain areas? I
thought. The nice gentlemen helped us with our things from the boat to dry land, then we got in a
truck with two off–duty fire fighters, which took us to grandmother's house. Grandma's house was
only ten minutes away from us. We thanked the courteous men and were on our way. It was
remarkable how the water only stayed on my street. "Do we live in a sink–hole area," I asked my
mom. "No, our home isn't located in a flood zone, "she replied drearily. When my family arrived,
grandma was extremely hysterical and teary–eyed. She asks, "Are you guys

Descriptive Essay About Being A Woman
It was a frigid Tuesday morning, dim light of the sun was shining from millions of miles away
brightening my day with its sparkling lights. I walked to my 76 years old grandma (Maya) house
through thin and spiky grass, giving me an unbearable feeling in my foot. As I got to my grandma's
house looking pale and a goof with cold frosty air coming out of my mouth, ringing the bell on her
door, she finally opened it. Then, she gave a tight hug with a big surprise in her face of the joy of
seeing me after a month. Her squeeze gave a feeling of warmth where I lost track of my self–feeling
safe and comfortable like a perfect dream. It had melted all my stress and gave me a calm
atmosphere of delights. As I enter her dark and cozy room, seeing many traditional types of
furniture, it had made me feel like I was living my life in the old days. Her bed felt super soft like
clouds, and I could not help myself sitting on that bed and talking with her about her life
experiences as being a woman
. As we sat, she asked, "So, what brings you here today after so long?"
I was in excitement to see myself through her words of her life experiences from her childhood. As I
asked her many questions that involved gender roles of being a woman, she looked serious with a
question mark on her face. We pause for seconds; it was dead quiet, and all I could hear is the tick–
tock of an old cranking sound of a clock. She then responded, "Being a girl, I lived in a farm–like
house, it was a muddy and dirtiest place that no one can imagine living in there today." Her response
had made me terrified because of the description of the condition and the environment she had lived
during her childhood. "My brothers had gone to school while I stay home with my mother helping
her do chores and clean up animals stool, the worst smell God ever had created." she continued,
with shame on her face. I was angrily surprised to hear how much differentiate her family kept in the
gender role of her being a female. In my life, I have never experienced or seen such a dreadful
situation like how my grandma did. Afterward, being not able to attend school had affected her
entire life.
While attending school was not a priority for her because of the stereotypes of

My Definition of Success Essay example
"Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value."
– Albert Einstein ––
My personal definition would not include "stuff" at all. No one will care (and neither will you) what
kind of car your drove or how big your house was when you're on your deathbed. Your thoughts will
not be about your job, the office or how much money you made.
Personal success is defined by how content and enjoyable your life is. That is not to say that
challenges and disappointments aren't included in this. A rich, eventful and challenging life doing
what you enjoy and positively affecting others seems to me to be just about right. Find a job you
love and you'll never work another day in your life. I know I won't. In my

Past, present and future are all important to keep in perspective. Looking back and not having
regrets is extremely satisfying. Your current situation and your contentment with it are also very
important, and having goals and milestones to work toward in the future keeps you motivated and
keeps life interesting and challenging.
In this age in which we live, success is generally measured by the amount of money you earn, or the
amount of wealth or power or number of promotions you've accumulated. I find that the older I
grow, the more I view the people who are most happy and content with their lives as the most
successful. Rich, poor or in between, they've tended to treat life as a journey, not a final destination.
They took that trip when they were 25 even though they really couldn't afford it, they ordered the
$55 bottle of wine with their filet because they knew that even though it was expensive it would
enhance the meal so much more than water would. They took a chance on a start–up company,
moved to Europe or Asia and experienced things that most people only dream about. If they
managed to grow wealthy from the experience, so much the better. As long as moderation with most
things is practiced, things won't spin out of control.
Bottom line rules for a successful life:
Always try new things.
Listen twice as much as you talk.
Travel as much as you can comfortably afford.
Faith and family always come first –

Ocean Descriptive Essay
I stand at the edge where two worlds collide. The oceans exude power and confindence yet its are
the connector to everyone. Here at the ocean, your peace can be found in the middle of this chaotic
world. This is where people can lose themselves in the beauty, tranquility and the uncontrollable
power of the ocean.
I stand on the edge looking forward the ocean seems endless. Some people believe at the horizon
there is nothing just a place where the moon, star and the sun hide until they shall return. Scrunching
my toes into the damp sand from the high tide. The sand is like rough sandpaper on my bare feet.
Whispers of the warm sea breeze as it skips over the lulling waves. The breeze carries the salty
aroma that swirls in my nose leaving a feeling of tranquility and safety. Listening to the thundering
raspy echo's of the waves as they churn crumbling into whitewash chaos deafening my ears to
whatever else is around me. The squawking of the protectors of the ocean as they circle above,
master of catching the upward sea breeze drafts. Watching the waves draw in a breath of air and
sighing deeply gradually crawling along each grain of sand stretching itself out thin to reach my
feet. The ocean breathes in again as the thin layer of water returns into the depths of the unknown.
The sun slowly simmers down into the horizon. The ocean reflecting a amber orange painting on its
mesmerizing turquoise canvas. The warmth of the air is replaced by chills. The light salt–water laps

Descriptive Essay About A Beautiful Place
The sweltering breeze rushes through my fingers as I sit on the soft green grass in the park. It's such
a beautiful day, the grassy plane clashes with the sapphire sky and the sunlight illuminates the
delicate area surrounding me. I quickly find myself becoming captivated by the amount of diverse
people who populate the parks space. The athletic runners, dog walkers, and adolescents hidden in
their smartphones; which, astonishes me because who knew that such a beautiful place could bring
so many contrasting individuals together. I arise to my feet and began traveling down a narrow path
which aligns itself along a lengthy river, but finally converged with the parkway ahead. An elderly
couple sits at the end of the path on a wooden bench eating ice cream that slowly drizzles down their
hands and onto the wedding rings that occupies their fingers. I observe the elderly couple for a short
amount of time noticing how happy and gullible they act towards each other. I slowly began to lose
interest in the couple, but then the elderly woman's ice cream starts to run onto her blouse and the
aged husband runs to fetch some napkins, quickly returning with them. A melody ringing throughout
the park quickly drew my attention away from the couple and directed it to the truck that rests on the
side of the road. The truck has a window fixtured on its side where a man hands out ice cream to a
long line of kids waiting. Finding myself in line, I notice a younger couple at the very front who

Descriptive Essay About Spring
Spring is such a wonderful and joyful season. The air begins to warm, and the temperature rises
slowly. Not only that, but the days seem to be getting longer as well. As the snow begins to melt in
northern America, the lovely flowers begin to bud and the flies begin to come out. The tree buds
starts greening and preparing itself to grow. The air smells different as opposed to winter
, it smells
fresh and alive. Spring wraps up winter, and leads on to the hot and humid season called summer.
Spring is the season that prepares itself for the next season, as forestry is starting to grow and thrive.
The animal kingdom also uses spring to mate. The bears that were hibernating no longer have to
hibernate. The smell of freshly cut grass also goes through the warm spring air.
The grouchy people of winter also start to become happy again. Most people dislike winter as it cold
and the driving condition are not great. However in spring, everything is having life, or coming back
to life; as well as their spirits. Spring is finally the time where people can finally eat outside, open
up the window to let fresh air in. Nothing is better than seeing the neon green trees and grass shining
through the low amounts of snow that might still be left behind by Mother Nature. The farming
trade also begins in spring; the farmers begin to plant their vegetables so they can harvest them
when the time is right. Spring also has a very nice holiday, Easter. Families gather at each other's
houses and

Descriptive Essay About The Sky
Life washes over those who expect it the least. One moment I was playing with the innocence of
time, then life came crashing in and destroyed everything. With water–soaked clothes and tear–
streaked cheeks, I returned home with the knowledge that life has no mercy. Life is not fair. Only
the sweet sting of reality to my beaten down ego was my companion.
Magnificent, heavenly light filters through the wispy clouds, signifying a new day. The thin clouds
slowly drift apart, presenting a beautiful sky beneath. Speaking out to me, the sky seems to know
every one of my thoughts, my dreams, my darkest fears. The sky is but a canvas of light, creating a
new picture within seconds. Weaving a story through the delicate clouds, the picture grows beyond
the expanse of sky. The colors splay before me, painfully beautiful and simple. Pink hues morph into
vibrant purples as they blend with the beautiful blues. The glittering stretch of sea shines before my
eyes. With every new wave
, the light from above whispers promises of riches and sparkling
diamonds. The light breeze that kisses the sea sends the twinkling light back into the air above.
The ocean strokes land with calm and reassuring hands, lacing water with sand and lifting seashells
in its wake. My heart urges me forward, to walk among the peace, to capture the sweet smell of sea
salt. My brain reasons with the rest of my body. Turning sharply from the churning water I force my
feet to leave the warm imprint they have grown to love
