Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

Molarity of the sugar solution has to be calculated if $\text{20}\text{.0}\text{g}$ of sugar is dissolved in the solution instead of $\text{10}\text{.0}\text{g}$.

Concept Introduction:

Molarity of the solution is defined as the number of moles of solute that is dissolved in the volume of solution in liters.  Unit of molarity is $\text{mol}\cdot {\text{L}}^{-1}$.  The equation for molarity is given as follows;

    $\text{Molarity (M)}=\frac{\text{Amount of solute in moles}}{\text{Volume of solution in liters}}$
