Given information: A triangle with sides of length 12, 13 and 18 units.

Concept used:

Let $a,b\text{and}c$ be the sides of the triangle, if

(i)   $c^2<a^2+b^2$ , triangle is acute angled.

(ii)   $c^2=a^2+b^2$ , triangle is right angled.

(iii)   $c^2>a^2+b^2$ , triangle is obtuse angled.

where, $c$ is the longest side of the triangle.

Here, a =12, b =13 and c = 18 units

  $c^2>a^2+b^2$

The triangle is obtuse angled.
