The function is

  $y=4x-1$

Graph :

Find the intercepts

Let $y=0$ to find the $x$ -intercept

  $\begin{array}{l}y=4x-1\\ 0=4x-1\\ -4x=-1\\ x=\frac{-1}{-4}\\ x=\frac{1}{4}\end{array}$

Since $x=\frac{1}{4}$ when $y=0$ ,graph the ordered pair $\left(\frac{1}{4},0\right)$ .

Let $x=0$ to find the $y$ -intercept

  $\begin{array}{l}y=4x-1\\ y=4\left(0\right)-1\\ y=-1\end{array}$

Since $y=-1$ when $x=0$ ,graph the ordered pair $\left(0,-1\right)$ .

Therefore, the graph is obtained as

Interpretation : From the above graph it can be observed that that ordered pairs are $\left(\frac{1}{4},0\right)$ and $\left(0,-1\right)$ .
