Charles’s law gives a relationship between the volume and temperature of the gas when the pressure of the gas is constant. The volume of the gas is directly proportional to the absolute temperature of the gas (in kelvin), at constant pressure. Mathematically, Charles’s law can be represented as:

In terms of initial temperature T1 , initial volume V1 , final temperature T2 , and final volume V2 .
