The intensive operations include student registration, academic administrations, inventory management and payroll operations.

Creating an information system for the Tiny College:

• In order to create an information system, initial database study needs to be performed to determine the objectives of the information system.
• The operations and processes of the Tiny College are studied in order to identify the opportunities, problems and constraints.
• Problems and constraints identified are being established in the form of precise definition.
• The definition obtained will help designer ensure that the design will improve the efficiency of Tiny College’s in terms of operations.
• Thus improving the operational efficiency will create new opportunity for the Tiny College by providing new services which will improve its position in terms of competitive analysis.
• Initial study to the database is made done, possible alternatives designs are provided to the end user.
• The end user will eventually choose the option that will be more appropriate for the college.
• Developing information system of this size will have different number of peoples involved in the design process.
• Thus there may likely possibilities of large number of peoples involved by providing opinions regarding the proposed design and system features.
