The difference between the anatomical and surgical neck of the humerus.

Concept introduction:

The humerus is the longest bone in the upper limb. It is present between the shoulder and the elbow joint. It joins with the ulna at the elbow joint. The humerus also joins with the frame of the body through glenoid fossa present in the scapula. The pectoralis major, deltoid, and some other muscles insert into the humerus.
