Concept introduction: The clavicle is the collarbone. It is an S-shaped elongated bone that joins the acromion of the scapula and the manubrium of the sternum. Clavicle bones are two in number. It makes the shoulder girdle along with the scapula. The clavicle is clearly visible in people with low fat.
