To distinguish: The difference between the cranial and the facial bones.

Concept introduction: The bones of the skeletal system afford the framework on which the body is assembled. Bones are the safeguard and support system of the internal organs. A skull is a bony structure that is composed of cranium and facial bones. There are $22$ bones in a human skull. The movable bone among these bones is called the mandible (lower jaw). All the other bones are fixed.
