Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

An expression that relates the ratio of the utilization of A and B, $V_{\text{A}}/V_{\text{B}}$ to the concentrations of the substrates and theirs $k_{\text{cat}}$ and $K_{\text{M}}$ values is to be stated.

Concept introduction:

The Michaelis-Menten equation relates the concentration of substrate with the velocity of reaction. A constant which expresses the substrate’s concentration if the velocity of a reaction equals half of the maximum velocity of the reaction is known as Michaelis-Menten constant. It is denoted by $K_{\text{M}}$.
