Chapter 6.7, Problem 4RIA
Summary Introduction

Virus, viroid, prion, and satellite are infectious agents that infect plants, animals, or bacteria. When they infect these cells cause diseases. But the way of causing disease is different. They also differ in their structure and genetic content. The virus has either double stranded or single stranded DNA or RNA surrounded by a protein coat and some of them have an extra outer covering called envelope. Viroid has a short circular single-stranded RNA as its genetic material but without a protein coat and envelop.
