Interpretation:

The approximate molar solubility of silver bromide in $\text{0}\text{.10}\text{M}{\text{CaBr}}_{\text{2(aq)}}$ has to be calculated.

Concept Introduction:

Solubility product:

The equilibrium constant is defined as solubility product and it denoted by the symbol of ${\text{K}}_{\text{sp}}$.  It is expressed by the chemical reaction equilibrium between an ionic solid compound and its ions solubility nature in the solution.

Common-ion defect:

The sparingly soluble salt solubility is decreased by the addtion of another soluble salt, because which posses an ion common with both salts.  This is called common-ion effect.
