Introduction:

Vitamins are an essential micronutrient required by the body in small amounts, to carry out a variety of important functions, mostly as co-enzymes. Vitamins cannot be synthesized by the body and need to be consumed in the diet. The requirement of different vitamins varies in different organisms and a deficiency of certain vitamins can lead to serious consequences.
