To provide enough centripetal force cyclist bends to give a component of normal as centripetal force.
The central force that acts along the radius but directed away from the
center of the circular path is called Centrifugal Force. The expression is like that of centripetal force.
Thus, as the cyclist threads circular path, centrifugal force come in action and drags cyclist from his path.
So, to resist this drag cyclist must lean forward in such a way that his weight balances the centrifugal force.
