Summary Introduction
In transcription, the RNA is synthesized from the segment of the DNA molecule. During transcription, the pre-mRNA or immature mRNA is synthesized by RNA polymerase enzyme. The mechanism of post-transcriptional modification (splicing) converts the pre-mRNA into the mature mRNA, which encodes a protein.
