Concept introduction: All the organisms can move from one place to another when they are in need for food or shelter. Some animals migrate to other places during the seasonal change toward a breeding site. This migration and the navigation of animals occur through the stimulus response. Taxis is the innate directional response of an animal that makes it move toward or away from the stimulus source.
