To explain why slope $0$ means that there is no linear relationship between $x$ and $y$ and why in this situation $x$ has no values for predicting $y$ .

Explanation of Solution

If the slope is zero, the line of the graph is a horizontal line and thus for every $x$ -value we will obtain the same predicted $y$ -value. Since the predicted value never change, it thus means there cannot be a linear relationship between $x$ and $y$ .
