Introduction:
Rh factors are antigens that are found on the surface of the red blood cells that also contribute to determine the blood type. Rh incompatibility is a phenomenon that occurs when a mother's Rh factor is different from that of the Rh factor of the foetus that lead to a condition named Erythroblastosis fetalis. This is characterized by the breakdown of red blood cells of the fetus, which is a serious disorder.
