To explain: The functional relationship between skeletal and muscle tissues
Introduction: Skeletal muscles are striated, voluntary muscles which are in the control of “somatic nervous system (SNS)”. Skeletal tissues consist of the skeleton part of the body. Muscle tissues form the muscular system of the body and responsible for various activities perform the individual. The layer of muscle tissue is known as “sarcolemma” and the basic structural unit that constitutes the whole network of muscle is known as “sarcomere.”
To explain: The way by which muscle damage affects the skeletal tissue
Introduction: Muscles consists of various units which constitutively results in the locomotion of the organism. The functioning of muscles is done by the process of muscle contraction. The muscles are formed by the joining of multiple units of muscle fibers together and later it gives rise to muscle tissue.

- Evaluate and Synthesize 9. INTERPRET DATA Examine Figure 40-13. Based on the summation of two stimuli shown in that graph, draw a curve showing summation when the muscle fiber is stimulated three times. - Descrive in 2-3 sentences an in vitro experiment that differentiates between the Arp2/3 complex’ ability to associate with both the side of the ‘mother’ actin filament and with the barbed end of the ‘mother’ actin filament. Your experiment should take advantage of capping protein (binds and blocks barbed ends), and direct visualization of actin filaments.arrow_forwardExplain well. The patient also complained of headaches at the back of the head just above the neck and travel over the top to the forehead. On Further examination it was noticed that the frequency of the pain increased by cervical movement but the severity of the pain is increasing more by looking up to the ceiling the pain is not relieved by any kind of Rest. The previous history of the patient showed that 3 years back he was involved in major car accident. 3)What major changes in cervical spine can be visible on Xray or RMI?arrow_forward
- Need help, please.arrow_forward32- For dead animals, we find their muscles are stiff because: a- A disorder of sliding actin b- Leakage of ATP molecules c- A disorder of binding myosin heads to actin filaments, so they are not bound. d- Overlapping between two actin filaments is not good enough.arrow_forwardBONUS QUESTION • In these lectures, we talked about two main things: levels of organization and homeostasis in physiological processes. This is a bonus task in which you are required to: 1) Sclect an example of homcostasis from human physiology. 2) List the homeostasis components of the system as elaborated in the lecture. 3) If you were to build a mathematical model of that system, what exactly do you need to measure/know? ** fecl free to use published papers as refcrences for your proposed model. ** your task submission need to contain a diagram of the physiological process or in the form of a presentation. This is a bonus task; however, you are highly encouraged to do it 20arrow_forward
- Asaparrow_forwardDiscuss Concepts Near the time of childbirth, collagen fibers in the connective tissue of the cervix break down, and gap junctions between the smooth muscle cells of the uterus increase in number. What do you think is the significance of these tissue changes?arrow_forwardUnit test Consider the following passage: In the 1960s, bald eagles in the United States were at the brink of extinction. Scientists discovered that this was due to habitat loss, illegal hunting, and the use of the pesticide DDT, which caused the eagles' egg shells to thin and break before chicks were fully developed. As a result of this understanding, DDT was banned in 1972. In addition, the Endangered Species Act, which protected the eagles' habitat and led to captive breeding programs, was passed in 1973. In 2007, bald eagles were taken off the threatened species list, and there are now more than 71,000 breeding pairs in the contiguous United States. Which of the following statements is best illustrated by the information provided in the passage? Choose 1 answer: Before an environmental problem is fully understood, groups of individuals can discuss and brainstorm ideas about how to solve the problem. When the source of an environmental problem is recognized, human activities can be…arrow_forward
