Summary Introduction

Introduction: A metabolic pathway is the sequence of enzyme or chemical medicated reactions that occur inside the cells. Metabolites are the products, intermediates, and the reactants of enzymatic reaction, which is altered by a series of chemical response catalyzed by enzymes. Catabolic pathway and anabolic pathway are the two types of the metabolic pathways. It is characterized by either breakdown of complex molecules by the energy releasing (catabolic pathway) or molecules synthesize with energy utilization.
