Summary Introduction

Introduction: The vesicles are small round-shaped compartments, and their outer layer is composed of phospholipid bilayer. The vesicles are produced by Golgi bodies and endoplasmic reticulum, which can be fused with the plasma membrane to transfer their contents to the cell. The vesicles are classified into four types based on their contents and functions. They are lysosomes, secretory vesicles, peroxisomes, and transport vesicles.
