Where

  MCPH=(Cp)HR=A+B2T0(τ+1)+C3T02(τ2+τ+1)+DτT02

Heat transferred in the heat exchanger is given as,

  Q=R×MCPH(T0,T,A,B,C,D)×(TT0)n×ΔH50

A,B,C,D are constants

T0 = Initial temperature

T = Final temperature

R = Universal Gas Constant = 8.314 J/mol K

n = moles of water

  ΔH50 = Latent heat of water at 50 0C

  τ=TTO

  ΔHR = Change of enthalpy of Reactants stream

  ΔH298 = Standard enthalpy at 298K

Total change in enthalpy = ΔH

Heat transferred = Q
