The sharing of electrons between nitrogen and fluorine should be explained using the Lewis dot symbols.
Concept Introduction:
Lewis structure is representation of distribution of valance electrons in atoms of a molecule. The bonded pair of electrons is represented by a bond between two atoms (which can be single, double or triple bond) and lone pairs are represented by dots around the symbol of the atom in the molecule. In the Lewis structure, all atoms must have complete octets.
