Concept explainers
The particles that forms nucleon.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
An atom consists of the charged particles and uncharged particles. The electrons and the protons are the charged particles. The proton is the positively charged and the electron is the negatively charged. The neutron is the neutral charge.
The electrons moves around the nucleus in the orbit. The nucleus consists of protons and neutrons. The particles present in the nucleus are combined called nucleons. The nucleus is dense due to the nucleons.
Conclusion:
Thus, the protons and neutrons form nucleons.
